Many individuals struggle with procrastination and executive functioning skills including organizing tasks, managing time, planning, and follow-through. These struggles can undermine academic success and take a toll on one’s career, not to mention, reducing overall life satisfaction.
For almost 30 years, Sherri Wandler, LCSW, BCN, has treated graduate and undergraduates at top universities who struggle with procrastination and executive functioning skills. As Co-Director of the Academic Skills Assessment Program at the University of Chicago for over 10 years, she provided individual therapy, offered groups and workshops that focused on executive functioning skills and reducing procrastination.
Sherri has completed 160 hours of training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) through the Beck Institute, a leading program for CBT education and professional training. CBT for Executive Functioning provides targeted strategies to strengthen the skills needed to overcome procrastination. By building practical tools for organization, prioritization, and self-regulation, her clients learn to manage responsibilities more effectively, reduce stress, and achieve their goals.
