Neurofeedback is a non-invasive brain-training therapy that can help improve focus, emotional regulation, impulse control and sleep. Neurofeedback is also used to address cognitive or mood symptoms following brain injury and to support individuals with ADHD and autism. Often, it used alongside other evidence-based treatments like CBT for ADHD and medication.
Sherri Wandler, LCSW, BCN, is certified by the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA) to provide therapeutic neurofeedback. In her practice, clients have experienced improvements in attention, emotional regulation, anxiety, depression and sleep, with lasting benefits. For some clients, neurofeedback has allowed a reduction in medication, which can be especially beneficial for those experiencing negative side effects from stimulants or other medications.
